tried to “sell” us on anything, and he brought a wealth of practical knowledge to the process. And when we found the home our hearts knew was the “one,” he shepherded us through to the closing with superb skill. Steve is a down to earth guy with an easy, unpretentious way about him, and a GREAT realtor!
He really went the extra mile
Steve is a fantastic realtor. He greatly surpassed any other realtor we’ve worked with as buyers. He really went the extra mile for us. At times we were out of town and he went and checked out every house we asked him about and reported on them or toured it with us on Skype. He is extremely knowledgeable about construction, and looked into every small detail of each home’s construction and let us know where there were problems and whether they were easily fixable or not. He even did things like climb up into the attic of a home to find out if there was sufficient insulation. He never tried to “sell” us on a house but was very honest about whether he thought a house was good or not – if a house had drawbacks, he was clear about pointing them out. He also is extremely knowledgeable about the area and was helpful in answering all our questions related to living here and caring for a home, such as pest control, utilities, appliances, amenities, building a dock, etc. When we found the home we wanted to buy, he was a great advocate in the inspection, making sure no stone was left unturned. He is also very skillful in negotiating on your behalf. I highly recommend him!
I wish that he could be cloned
Steve was the calm most reliable resource in the process of purchasing a home I wish that he could be cloned because he was the most helpful reliable realtor that I’ve had the pleasure to work with.
He helped us tailor what we liked
Steve was great with our search for a house. He helped us tailor what we liked about houses we saw until we found the house that was what we wanted. Steve spoke his mind freely about both the good an bad about the houses we saw, and he was patient with us as we toured a wide range of homes. We really appreciate the work he put in to us.
Right guy for the job
Very detailed and honest and was able to show the houses requested on time. Right guy for the job and was able to explain the pros and cons of buying a house. He doesn’t push us to buy the houses he shows. We can trust him and at least 15 of my friends had bought houses through him and everyone has the same feedback.
First time buyers will be very pleased
Steve knows this area, different vendors, lenders and builders better than anyone. He was very quick to respond to phone calls and emails and very prompt in getting paperwork together. He introduced us to a great local lender, Home Inspection team and also did all back and forth emails, discussions between Seller, Lender and Title company. He was great and I would highly recommend him to anyone looking to purchase or sell a home. First time buyers, such as myself, will be very pleased with the knowledge and professionalism of Steve!
